For clinics, legal aid and community agencies

You see where this breaks.

Your team helps people apply for the Disability Tax Credit. getowed is the case tool for that work — live now, and free for teams of five or fewer.

Five questions, about a minute. Free for organizations of up to five people — no card, no trial, no call.

Paid plans start at $900 a year, plus GST/HST.

What organizations pay

Four disabled people of colour meet around a table. One stands holding a large envelope, another writes in a notebook, and a third looks up from a tablet.

What your team gets

  • The numbers your funder asks for. Cases your team has already recorded, turned into a report — instead of compiling them by hand at quarter end.

  • What is actually yours to move this morning. Which files are waiting on a practitioner, on the CRA, and which are waiting on the person you are helping.

  • The objection deadline, worked out. Under s. 165(1)(a) — the later of one year after the filing-due date and ninety days after the notice — not the ninety-day rule of thumb, which can persuade somebody their appeal is gone when it is not.

  • A pre-filled sheet for the practitioner, and the list of who may certify kept current as the rules change.

ESDC’s 2026–2027 call closed on 8 October 2026. The page we wrote for applicants is still up: what getowed is, what it costs, and what ESDC told us, in their words.

What we can see about your clients

Nothing that identifies them. getowed holds your own file references, client numbers, stages and dates — not names, not diagnoses, not contact details. There are no fields for them, and an automated check refuses any column that could hold them. Every report you print carries this sentence.

The offer, in full

  • The caseworker tools, free until 31 March 2027. After that Commons — up to five people — stays free, permanently.

  • No sales calls. If you need more than five people we write to arrange the licence; otherwise you will only hear from us if you tick the box asking us to.
